Educational Webinar Series • Free Online Event • 2 Sessions
Many digital creators begin their journey with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of purpose. However, within the first year, a large number of blogs, channels, and creative projects gradually become inactive. This process rarely occurs because creators lack ideas or technical skills. More often, it is connected to internal psychological dynamics — fatigue, comparison with others, shifting expectations, and uncertainty about long-term value.
As creative work becomes increasingly connected with metrics such as views, likes, and subscriber numbers, the original intrinsic motivation may slowly transform into performance-driven pressure. When growth slows or becomes inconsistent, creators frequently interpret this as failure rather than a natural stage of development.
Research in self-determination theory, long-term motivation studies, and recent analyses of creator burnout (2021–2025) indicate that projects sustained for several years are rarely built on external rewards alone. Instead, they rely on internal meaning, autonomy in the process, and the ability to maintain curiosity even during periods of uncertainty.
This webinar series explores the psychological foundations of long-term creative engagement. Participants will examine why creative motivation fluctuates and how individuals can maintain a healthy relationship with their work without relying solely on numbers, visibility, or financial outcomes.
The focus of the discussion is thoughtful reflection rather than quick solutions.
Each session offers research-based insights and reflective exercises designed to deepen your understanding of creative motivation.
